Does Florida have net metering?
As of this writing, Florida's investor-owned utilities — including Duke Energy Florida, FPL, and TECO — offer net metering, which credits the excess power your system sends to the grid. The exact terms depend on your utility and can change; we confirm what applies to you before you sign and file the net metering agreement as part of interconnection.
